IDI HiSAD System

What is it?

The HiSAD system is a two-stage anaerobic digestion system comprising of a high solids anaerobic digester (feed @ 20% solids or higher) operated at between 35-55oC, followed by an anaerobic filter packed with porous media. The technology works as an anaerobic digester with the added feature of recirculating digester centrate back into the primary digester post-filtration. Recirculating the filtered centrate is said to reduce the acidic content in the digester.
