ClearCove Enhanced Primary Treatment (EPT)What is it?
The ClearCove EPT is a complete primary wastewater treatment solution that combines screening, grit removal, sedimentation and flow equalization into one process unit. The technology is designed to reduce BOD (by 65-80%) at the primary treatment stage. Raw sewage enters the system at either end of the tank through grit screens. The influent is then filtered to separate solids and organics from the water using gravity and a 50-micrometer decanting screen. The ClearCove EPT operates as a two-tank system that runs in parallel to fills and decant simultaneously. BlueTech estiamtes that ClearCove has been out of business since 2019.Website
